BILL Small | Double Raised Feeder in Wood and Stainless Steel

The Small size of the BILL line is particularly suitable for adult cats and small dog breeds. Compared to EASY Small, the height of the structure is only slightly greater, but the overall impression is more substantial, because BILL has a fuller and more solid presence.

This size comfortably accommodates medium-sized adult cats, British Shorthair, European Shorthair, Siamese, Sacred Birman, and many young Maine Coon cats or those that are not particularly tall at the shoulder. For dogs, it is suitable for Maltese, Shih Tzu, Pug, Toy or Miniature Poodle, small Jack Russell Terriers, smaller Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and small mixed-breed dogs.

It is an excellent size when you want a height suitable for small animals but with a more stable support structure and a more “furniture-like” visual presence. In the case of small but sturdy cats or dogs, this line is more suitable than lighter models.

How to measure shoulder height (withers)

Have your pet stand on a flat surface with its head and neck in a natural position. Identify the highest point of the shoulder blades, which is the part of the back where the neck begins: this is the withers. Measure the distance from the ground to that point using a rigid measuring tape or tailor’s tape.

When choosing a raised feeder, keep in mind that the bowl, once inserted into the opening, sits a few centimeters lower. For this reason, the usable height does not correspond to the external height of the feeder. If your pet is between two sizes, consider body build, neck length, eating habits, and the fact that some animals prefer to eat slightly lower.
