BILL Large | Single Raised Feeder in Wood and Stainless Steel

The Large size of BILL is designed for medium-large and large dogs with a shoulder height (at the withers) of approximately 48 to 70 cm.

Breeds that typically fall within this range include Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Boxers, English Setters, German Shepherds, Weimaraners, female Dobermanns, German Shorthaired Pointers, some Rottweilers, and many medium-large mixed-breed dogs. It is the appropriate size when a dog has a substantial chest and a posture that makes a feeding station that is too low uncomfortable.

This size is not intended for cats. The design is clearly oriented toward large dogs, both in terms of functional height and the visual proportion of the object in a space.

How to measure shoulder height (withers height)

Have your pet stand on a flat surface with its head and neck in a natural position. Identify the highest point of the shoulder blades, where the neck begins: this is the withers. Measure the distance from the ground to this point using a rigid tape measure or tailor’s tape.

When choosing the raised feeder, keep in mind that once the bowl is inserted into the opening, it sits a few centimeters lower. For this reason, the usable height does not exactly match the external height of the feeder.

If your pet is between two sizes, consider body build, neck length, feeding posture, and the fact that some animals prefer eating slightly lower.
